For this project, KANLA PERLA was reached out by a beautiful young family of four who plan to fully renovate their main bathroom on the Gold Coast.
The original floorplan is petite in size and cluttered in space, with the entry door opening straight to the shower screen door, single vanity, and small built-in bathtub where awkwardly uncomfortable for a single adult. The clients goal was to incorporate a bigger bathtub and vanity while making the space appear larger, brighter and more functional for their family.
KANLA PERLA has transformed and maximized the space by introducing a wet space to allow the better space flow. Inviting an enduring colour palette with new mute clean white subway tiles laid in herringbone pattern, paired with the white Vj paneling wall. The natural timber vanity works well alongside the organic texture and sleek finishes of the basin and free-standing bathtub. Completing the space with brushed gunmetal tapware and mixtures for sophisticated touch, this bathroom space delivers nothing but sense of calm and serenity.
